Welcome/Willkommen!

Hello and welcome. Hope you enjoy the images I have posted. Please do not reproduce them without my permission. Most are available as note/greeting cards or as prints/enlargements. Thank you for visiting my site and your comments.
Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

Cleveland Skies 1 [Sky Watch Friday]

We finally got around to paying a visit to Cleveland, Ohio, and are we glad that we did. We were not prepared for the all its positive aspects: a superb transportation system, outstanding museums [e.g. the Rock & Hall Hall of Fame and the Museum of Art topping the list], a wide variety of eateries, wonderful architecture and, above all, friendly people/courteous drivers. The large downtown area was also unexpected.
We stayed at the Glidden House Inn [ca. 5 miles east of downtown] is located on the campus of Case Western Reserve University [CWRU], and situated within easy walking distance of several museums, the botanical garden, and a public park where free concerts are staged on Wed. nights.
The images below are from the CWRU School of Management [only ca.100 meters from our hotel] were shot with my LG4 cell phone. What makes it so special is that it was designed by architect, Frank Gehry. His works are world renown; e.g. his magnificent museum in Bilbao, Spain and the concert hall in Los Angeles, CA.
